One of the best bets this month. One team is fully rested, as Hornets had 4 free days, another played 5 matches in 8 days and should be the most tired team in the NBA at the moment. Yesterday they had a hard match vs. Magic.
Carlisle likes to rest veteran players b2b and it didn't happen thus far this season. Maybe tonight? It is very probable we'll see young Mavs guys playing major minutes tonight, otherwise help them God to play against fast paced at home and very agressive defensively Hornets team. Speaking about the quality, both teams are underperforming this season, but still Hornets has so much more potential than Mavericks. As they are finally fully healthy, they should be prepared to make a push for playoffs. There will be no better chance than this, as now they have 3 home games, only one away and 8 straight home games after that. They should try hard to get at least 10 wins during this period to give themselves a chance to get to the playoffs.
Last 2 games show that the team is closer to getting it's rhythm and tonight they are expected to blow out tired Mavericks team. If Barnes and others do actually play, Hornets have very good defensive players and will make Dallas work - they only have to survive until HT and should have much more energy in the second to finish the job.
